Terms and Definitions

· Approved, when used as the thread prefix means that the screenshot has been verified on the server, log data has been confirmed the host has been verified and the content of the shot has been validated.

· Content of Shot: Approved, just saying the screenshot does contain a visible cheat but cannot be verified completely. “Approved for content, cannot be approved/banned because it is not an approved server IP, however this is indeed a cheat on the screenshot.”

· Denied, used in a post and as the thread prefix, when a screenshot does not contain a valid visible cheat. “Denied, inconclusive.”

· Approved for CVAR Evidence, used as the thread prefix means that the player is already banned for using a non-visual cheat, however the submission can be approved as additional evidence to the violation.

· Already Banned, used as the thread prefix means that the player has already been banned for a screenshot with a visible cheat.

· Pending, used in a post or as a thread prefix, when the shot has not been verified, denied or approved.

· Pending Server Approval, used in a post or as thread prefix, when the server needs to be verified.

· Pending Log Verification, used in a post or thread prefix, when the logs need to be verified.

· Add to Watchlist, used when a screenshot is suspicious but cannot be verified totally via logs or the server is not approved.

· Incorrect Submission Format, when the screenshot submitted is not in a .png format.

PBSS Submission when submitted via the BOT

Check the content of the shot for a visible cheat.

· If a cheat is present, approve the shot.

o Make a new post and put the reason why the shot is approved.

o “Approved for visible cheat.”

o Then change the thread prefix to “Approved”

· Check the bottom left of the screenshot with the ACI Overlay. Ensure it says "Not Banned".

o If the reason is "ACI-PBSS-BOT" you can mark it as "Already Banned" and post the ban line. (You can use the search feature at the bottom of the forums.)

o If the reason is something other then "ACI-PBSS-BOT" mark the submission as "Approved For Cvar Evidence".

· Cheat not present, deny the shot.

o Make a new post and put the reason why the shot is denied.

o “Denied, reduced fog at best.”

o Then change the thread prefix to “Denied”

o Be sure to give a reason why the shot was denied.

Manual PBSS Submission

· Gather the Data

o Make sure the shot on the server matches the shot in the submission.

o Make sure the data in the pbsvss.htm has been posted properly, such as the screenshot has not been overwritten. Grab the proper pbsvss.htm line.

o Save a copy of the PBSS to your hard drive, from the shot on the server to ensure that it will not become "corrupt".

o Make sure the player in question is not banned, nor have they been submitted. Do not merge a manual submission that has been verified without one that cannot be verified. We must keep good with good, and bad with bad.

o Upload a copy of the PBSS to the ACI site using the ACI Image Host.

· Form the Post

o Use the [img]URL TO IMAGE[/url] to post the remotely hosted image.

o Post the link to the shot on the server.

o Post the link to the pbsvss.htm

o Post the line from the pbsvss.htm

o Post the Ban line.

§ DATE GUID “NAME” “IP” BANREASON

o Then post the point at which the submission is in the process. All needs to be included!

§ Verified on the Server: True/False.

§ Server Host: Pending Logs/Pending Approval/Approved/Denied.

§ Content of shot: Cheat/Bug/Graphics Issue/PB Bug/Inconclusive.

o Post ban search results.

o Press Submit.

· Conditions

o The threads title prefix may only be marked once all three conditions have been met. At no point should your post have the word approved in it unless the shot has met all three as options as approved/true.

o When posting log data, remove personal information. Some hosts include the letter of the first name, and the entire last name. Just mark that out with *****.

o Screenshots that cannot be verified properly, but the player is Already Banned for a PBSS will be moved into the denied subforum.
