In this section we will cover using your internet browser. We will only use two browsers in the tutorial InternetExplorer7 and Mozilla FireFox3. Click on an image to enlarge.

Internet Explorer 7 FireFox 3

The first thing you will need to find is the URL or link to the PBSVSS.HTM file. For the purpose of this tutorial we will be using http://216.180.236.207/pbsvss.htm

Internet Explorer 7 FireFox 3

The URL is not always in this format, it can be in several different formats depending on the server provider and settings.

http://IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)/pbsvss.htm
http://IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)/IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)/pbsvss.htm
http://ss.gamehosters.com/IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)/pbsvss.htm
http://IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)/IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)-1716/pbsvss.htm
http://IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx):2000/pbsvss.htm
http://files.spearfront.com.au/IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)/pbss/pbsvss.htm

Where IP(xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) is 216.180.236.207 in our example. xxx has to be in the range of 0 - 255.

Each line in the PBSVSS.HTM contains the following information.

First the blue number, this is a link to the screenshot on the server.

Next between the quotes is the players name, then "(W) GUID=" then the 32 digit GUID followed by (-).

The last part of the line contains the date and time the screenshot was taken.

You now have a list of all the screenshots on a server ( sometimes this can take a while to load ), and you want to view them. All you have to do is click the blue number to the left of the black text.

And what you should see now is the screenshot that corresponds to the link you clicked.

We will point out that this is a clean screenshot, [CLS]_-_AiRcON-_ was just picked at random from the first server we looked at.
